Last Friday I applied for the Applied Bank secured credit card. Monday Applied Bank withdrew the security money from my checking account. Today I called Applied to see how long the approval process would take. I was told that it would take 4 weeks. Meanwhile I cannot use my money. I got their BBB report (too late) and found hundreds of complaints against this company. Beware. Look somewhere else for a card.
